I thought it might be that one. It still looks nice though

Oh by the way, does the collector's armor show up for the core professions, or is it only the two new ones that can access the collector's armor right now. If they can, then that would mean three sets of armor for every profession, and I haven't seen any but the Dervish collector's. (It's the same armor we originally saw on the Dervish before the preview).

Well, there's my dervish with sunspear armor with the head, body and legs dyed black. Body is an istani robe. Hope that suffices for ya until someone someone posts a completely black one.

Hehe, np

Initially I was going to dye it silver, but then I got 2 black dyes in 1 hour and then used the rest of my money to buy another. Pretty lucky, too bad it's going to be all wiped out =/

Yeah, for real. Well, I'm glad you didn't die it silver. Black is just so much better for Dervish imo.

Apparently someone caught me mid-game saying they saw my image here.

I couldn't stop laughing after realizing I forgot about that.

Hey I have an important question. Is there a place to get armor that requires rare crafting materials. all the armorers i have used only use regular crafting materials.

And if so, what do the dervish and paragon use?

Unfortunately, not too well:

I would have preferred it if dye affected the whole armor- as it is now the natural color and dyed color clash with some mixes (though this one looks alright). It's an interesting armor set, though I'm more interested in how the 15k version looks. In any case, it's better than cheetah skins

The ranger armors at Blacktide required two different crafting materials- Cloth and Chitin for Sunspear, Hide and... Fiber maybe? for the Istani. Even something like chitin is rare in the WPE though, due to the limited pool of salvagable items. It took me forever just to find someone with two chitin fragments to buy (I bought the rest from the trader, but was feeling cheap at the end and didn't want to buy two for the price of ten).

Great, so we have knight and mesmer armors that are simply re-skins from old sets... Great... ANet, work work! we want some variety....

As for necros, I absolutely LOVE Istani set... It has a little dark wings at the back ^^ (at least female version does).

ive tested a few of the characters and tried to dyed their armor and unfortunately....im finding that only the mesmer and elementalist classes have decent dyability. Well at least in my opinion for whatever thats worth.

I most of the armors..cept the monk..its just..looks ....ugly. Female ranger looks decent bout males suck.

What I am disappointed in is that the assasin and ritualist werent offered with this preview. Sure they were introduced in FActions but..they should be createable in Nightfall too
